On this date, High School students from the Chicago area will learn a little about JPEG and MPEG compression. Please download and unzip this file (or voice compression and video compression) to your PC and follow the instructions that will guide you through three steps:
- What are tones (sinusoids)?
- How can sinusoids compress voice and music?
- How can sinusoids compress images?
