COURSE GOAL: Throughout the semester you will work through 10 labs that are designed to reinforce many of the concepts that you will learn in the lecture, and to introduce to the wonderful, sometimes frustrating world of hardware design - a subject at the heart of electrical engineering. To tie the concepts together you will be using the expertise that you gain in the labs to design a circuit that guides a vehicle along a white piece of tape on a black table. There will be, of course, many difficulties to challenge you - all kinds of turns from gentle curves to 90 degree turns, zig-zags, and splits. This lab is usually very enjoyable for most students and I hope you feel that way at the end of the semester.
