ECE 110 Supervised Study Sessions
Since Fall 2007, ECE 110 offers Supervised Study Sessions (SSS) to its students.
The SSS program consists of optional, weekly problem solving sessions in which students work with peer leaders to solve difficult problems from previous exams.
At the beginning of every semester, ECE 110 students can elect to join a SSS section. Students are then assigned into permanent learning teams which meet every Sunday. Each session has a peer leader, either a Teaching Assistant or a graduate of ECE 110 who did well in the class. The sessions are voluntary, but regular attendance really benefits students.
For more information on the program, see the About SSS Page.
For our collection of leader materials, see the Leader Training Page.
For more information on Peer Led Team Learning (PLTL), the pedagogy on which SSS are based, see the PLTL Resources page.
