(ECE 420) Development of real-time digital signal processing (DSP) systems using a DSP microprocessor.

Several structured laboratory exercises, such as sampling and digital filtering, followed by an extensive DSP project of the student's choice.

Students are encouraged to pursue final projects with embedded systems, for example, programming a cell phone with an ARM processor.

Prerequisite: ECE 410.
