Guidelines for Lab Reports
Students work in pairs in problem-solving and data taking, but lab reports must be written individually. If one copies the report from another, both students receive zero for the project. Repeated indulgence in such activity will result in failure in the course.
Use a word-processing package to write the lab report. It is acceptable to write the mathematical expressions and calculations by hand.
A lab report should include the following elements:
Theoretical analysis
PSpice schematic and simulation results
Comparison between theoretical work and simulated results
Design work
Bench work and recorded data
Discussion/conclusion
Keep a copy of each lab report for yourself.
